What is UPoint Alight? ›

Alight UPoint is an employee benefits management solution designed for HR teams.

To access your Pnc Financial Services Group 401(k) plan online, visit the Alight website and enter your username and password, or use the forgot login feature to reset your credentials. If you don't have login credentials, try registering as a new user.

Alight was formed in May 2017 after the acquisition of the benefits outsourcing department of Aon Hewitt by private equity funds affiliated with Blackstone Group L.P.

The Smart-Choice card advantage

Your Smart-Choice card provides immediate access to the funds in your Smart-Choice Account, allowing you to pay for eligible expenses directly at a qualified service provider instead of paying out-of-pocket and submitting a claim for reimbursem*nt.

Alight will most likely distribute your 401(k) funds directly to you by paper check, using the mailing address they have on file for your account. Once you get the check, it's then up to you to deposit that check with your new IRA provider.
